Just 3 minutes from Alp, 7 from Puigcerdà, and 10 from France, its location offers the perfect balance between the tranquillity of nature and the convenience of nearby villages. Moreover, within 15 minutes, you can reach Masella and La Molina, two of the most renowned alpine ski resorts in the Pyrenees. An ideal destination for mountain lovers, gastronomy enthusiasts, and those seeking authentic experiences.
Fonda dels Pics is set in an authentic, unspoilt environment, surrounded by pure nature. Right on its doorstep, countless hiking and cycling trails lead to stunning hidden spots. A leisurely walk takes you to the Segre River, the lifeline of Cerdanya, an idyllic place to unwind and immerse yourself in tranquillity.
For sports lovers, the region boasts several golf courses, with the nearest just five minutes away by car. If adventure is what you seek, the possibilities are endless: hot air balloon rides with breathtaking views, quad and motorbike trails, horseback excursions, thermal baths, and, of course, a myriad of hiking routes leading to the most spectacular landscapes in the Pyrenees. The Restaurant Fonda dels Pics is part of the Terra de Pics Group, a gastronomic landmark in Cerdanya. Here, traditional Catalan mountain cuisine is reinvented with fusion touches and creativity, led by chefs Jordi Soro and Carlos Laginhas, whose extensive careers span Cerdanya and the Iberian Peninsula, including Portugal.
From hearty breakfasts to lunches and dinners featuring grilled specialties, rice dishes, and reinterpretations of traditional recipes, each culinary experience is designed to delight the senses. The space, with its authentic Cerdanya-style decor, blends wood, stone, and modern details, creating a warm, elegant, and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the restaurant offers ideal areas for both intimate dinners for couples and spacious, comfortable settings for groups, as well as private spaces.
The group also owns Terra de Pics, a renowned gastrobar in Bolvir, just seven minutes from the hostel, where innovation and tradition blend seamlessly.

At Fonda dels Pics, we love dogs and animals in general. We live in a privileged natural environment and are delighted for your pets to enjoy both the surroundings and our guesthouse. However, to ensure harmonious coexistence between animals and people, as well as to maintain our facilities and respect guests who may not be comfortable with pets, we have established a set of rules and conditions for bringing your pet.
We kindly ask for your cooperation to ensure that everyone’s stay at Fonda dels Pics is enjoyable and peaceful. Failure to comply with these rules—especially those affecting other guests—may result in us having to ask you to leave the guesthouse, with charges applied according to our cancellation policy.
